Two Jefferson City teens reported missing

Zachary Johnson, 15, and Lilly Gore, both of Jefferson City, were reported missing Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017. The news that the two youths had been found was announced early Sunday morning, Nov. 25, via a post on Facebook from Zachary's mother, Stephanie Johnson.

Jefferson City police are investigating the disappearance of two Jefferson City teens, reported missing Tuesday and last seen Monday evening.

Zachary Johnson, 15, and Lilly Gore,17, were reported missing by family members and are believed to be together.

Both are students are Jefferson City High School.

Johnson is described as a white male, 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, with blond, curly hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans, carrying a black backpack.

Gore is described as a black female, 5-foot-1, 100 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black JCHS Band sweatshirt and blue jeans.

They are believed to be in a 2005 Green Jeep Liberty bearing Missouri license FP8D1J, which is now reported as stolen.

While the reason the teens are missing is not known, it is possible they could be in danger, according to information from the Jefferson City Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to contact Jefferson City police at 573-634-6400.
