Moniteau County Sheriff's deputies responded to Jamestown for investigation into a domestic disturbance.
According to the report, deputies arrived at a residence inside Jamestown to find Gregorio M. Perez in the back yard of the residence. He had been reported to have discharged a firearm before the deputies arrived and had possession of a firearm when the deputies made contact with him.
After Perez threw the firearm, deputies took him into custody at gunpoint. While being taken into custody, Perez resisted arrest and assaulted the deputies.
Gregorio M. Perez, 44, Jamestown, was taken to the Moniteau County jail. He was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, resisting arrest and assault in the fourth degree. Bond was set at $25,000.
