A wanted Fulton man was arrested Tuesday, according to Sgt. Billy Kamp, of the Fulton Police Department.

At 6:38 p.m., police were tipped off about the location of Devin A. McCaleb, 19, who was wanted on three St. Charles County County failure-to-appear warrants, Kamp said.

A Fulton office located McCaleb in the 400 block of Court St. at 6:51 p.m. and attempted to make contact. Kamp said McCaleb fled on foot, and the officer chased him for several blocks before losing sight of him. The Callaway County Sheriff's Office K9 unit also responded to the area to assist.

McCaleb was located, arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail without further incident.

His bond was set at $45,000, cash only, for the St. Charles County charges of second-degree burglary, felony leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license. There is an additional $4,500 bond for resisting arrest for a felony, Kamp added.
