The Ozark Prairie Master Gardeners and University of Missouri Extension will host a free field day 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Britton Farm, located at 22125 Old Five Road, Versailles.
Visitors may take self-guided tours and attend presentations. Local master gardeners, University of Missouri instructors and other experts will give presentation over a variety of topics such as: mini greenhouses, managing woodland for timber and wildlife, growing mushrooms, vegetable gardening, care and propagation of cactus, fruit/nut tree care, bluebirds, gardening with native plants, water features and soils.
