Fulton man turns himself in after robbery

A Fulton man was arrested Saturday in connection with a robbery, according to Lt. Dall Hedges of the Fulton Police Department.

Ronald Lee Galbreath, 25, was arrested for first-degree burglary, second- degree robbery and fourth-degree domestic assault, Hedges added.

At 7:46 p.m. Saturday, police were called to the 400 block of Sabre Circle in Fulton for a burglary.

"The victim who was inside the residence reported that they had been physically assaulted and a cellphone had been stolen from them," Hedges stated in a press release. "The victim also reported that they knew the suspect and this was not a random crime."

The victim declined medical treatment and told police Galbreath had committed the assault and theft, Hedges said.

Police noted the home's front door had been kicked open.

After police made several unsuccessful attempts to locate Galbreath, he turned himself in at the Fulton Police Department. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail. No bond had been set as of Saturday.

The investigation is ongoing.
