A Russellville man has been charged in connection with a Moniteau County burglary case.
Morgan Howard, 17, was charged with burglary/stealing, according to Moniteau County Sheriff's Department reports.
Deputies responded Aug. 11 to a report of a burglary on Rock House Road.
Deputies reviewed surveillance footage from the scene and identified suspects.
On Aug. 12, deputies tracked the suspects to a residence in Cole County with the assistance of the Cole County Sheriff's Department, where they took Howard into custody.
Howard allegedly confessed to the burglary during an interview with investigators, and the stolen items were recovered and returned to the owner.
