Musicians from California middle and high schools will perform a hearty selection of yule-tide songs for all to hear Dec. 9 at the performing arts center.
The sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade bands, as well as the high school bands, will disrupt the silent night at 2 p.m. with the high school jazz band kicking off the musical day with a pre-concert in the performing arts center lobby.
The free performance will be filled with holiday songs and a mix of non-holiday tunes.
Besides the festive songs, a book fair will be taking place in the lobby. The book fair will be open before and after the concert, with all proceeds going toward the 2019 band trip to the 2019 Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.
