A Russellville man faces charges after a foot chase with authorities earlier this month.
Drew Puckett, 29, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and resisting arrest.
Deputies were dispatched Feb. 6 to a residence in the 9000 block of Old Bass Road in Eugene for a domestic violence incident, according to a Cole County Sheriff's Department probable cause statement.
A man, later identified as Puckett, had exited the rear of the residence and was walking toward a field. Puckett ignored orders to stop and ran a short distance before deputies could take him into custody.
Puckett was found to be in possession of a plastic bag containing methamphetamine.
Court records show Puckett has seven failure to appear warrants out of Moniteau County. Two of those warrants are for felony drug possession.
