Filing ends for April 3 municipal election

Filing closed Jan. 16 for the April 3 municipal elections.

School boards with elections

California Moniteau R-1 - There are four candidates for the two seats up for election. They are Jeremiah Ranow, Brandon Dunham, Allison Kruger and Brad McCord.

High Point Moniteau R-3 - Candidates for the two seats up for election are Incumbent Ricky Percival, William "Will" Wright, Beth Hale and Amanda Barbour.

Prairie Home Cooper R-5 - There are three candidates up for the two seats to fill in this election. They are Incumbent Rachel Lock, Peggy Ann Eichen and Amanda Cantrell.

School boards with no elections

Two filed, and will be sworn in to fill the two seats coming open on the following school boards.

Russellville Cole R-1 - Incumbent Jerry Schulte and Collin Steenbergen.

Clarksburg C-2 - Incumbent Brandon Klein and Chrissy Williams.

Latham Moniteau R-5 - Incumbents James Bonecutter and Shawn Higgins.

Tipton R-6 - Kent Allan Fischer and Aaron Diggs.

Jamestown C-1 - Incumbent John McNay and Don Barbour.

Eldon School District - Daniel Wray Currence and Christi Lynn Miller.

City Council elections

City of California - Two candidates filed for three seats up for election. Ward 1 is looking for a write-in candidate, since no one filed for the seat. Ward 2 has one candidate - incumbent Brian Lawson. Ward 3 has one candidate - incumbent Resa Dudley.

City of Tipton

There are two seats up for election and only one candidate filed for each one. The East Ward candidate is incumbent Mike Kelley and the West Ward candidate is incumbent Charlie Hainen.

City of Jamestown

There are two seats up for election. One person filed and is unopposed for East Ward - Joyce A. Pearcy. Two candidates filed for the single West Ward seat - Joseph E. Wykoff and Victoria L. Kempfer.

City of Clarksburg

There are two seats up for election. The North Ward is looking for a write-in candidate, since no one filed for the seat. One person filed for South Ward - Lynn Gross.

City of Lupus

The following people have declared their candidacy for the Lupus Town Board election.
