A Fulton man was arrested Tuesday following a narcotics search, said Lt. Curtis Hall of the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.

Joshua Byrd, 29, was arrested for two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

The sheriff's office was aided by the Fulton Police Department Special Response Unit and the Mustang Drug Task Force in executing a search warrant at 5:52 a.m. Tuesday at a residence in the 200 block of St. Francis Street in Fulton. The warrant was obtained following a sheriff's office drug investigation.

During the search, law enforcement found methamphetamine, pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Hall said. Deputies arrested Byrd following the search.

Byrd was taken to the Callaway County Jail pending a bond setting.
