Three people were arrested following two recent drug busts in Moniteau County.
Deputies on Sunday conducted a traffic stop on Route F for a moving violation, according to sheriff's reports. They spoke with the driver and got consent to search the vehicle, where they located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on the passenger side.
A passenger, Ocio Noe, 26, of California, was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies responded Wednesday to a report of suspicious people trying to hitchhike just outside of California on Route O.
Natasha Larsen, 31, and Patrick Coffelt, 21, both of California, were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana and methamphetamine. Coffelt was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Larsen was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
