The construction underway southeast of the U.S. 50/Missouri 87 intersection south of California has been the topic of conversation for several months. The dirt work began some time back, with all the topsoil graded off and piled up. The land was graded and the topsoil spread on the west part, near Missouri 87.
Foundations have been dug, concrete poured and the project is finally taking shape.
With a planned 33,000-square-feet of floor space, there should be sufficient room for the three Rissler-owned businesses, which will be relocating to the California facility. There is plenty of space available for other business firms seeking to locate or relocate to the location near the City of California.
Edge Signs and Graphics is one of the businesses. It was formerly located in California, and is coming back to this area from Latham.
Another business is Diesel Power Plus. It is a clothing establishment, specializing in hats, shirts and other clothing featuring logos, designs and pictures of diesel equipment, trucks and heavy equipment, as well as automotive accessories.
The third business is Horse and Buggy Accessories. This business features LED lights, chrome and stainless steel accessories for big rigs.
The owner of the land and facility under construction is Rissler and Rissler LLC. The partners are brothers, Delton and John Rissler. The date of completion and opening of the businesses is currently unknown.
