The Jamestown School Board of Education met at 6 p.m. Nov. 8. The PTO report included an update on the Fall Festival that took place Nov. 2.
Program reports were also given from the health/P.E. and music department. The principal's report included an update on teacher observations, parent teacher conferences and ACT scores.
Superintendent's report included administrative meetings, student events, an update on communication committee and an update on the phone lines. Phone lines were down earlier this month.
An update was provided on the tractor for dressing the ball field. Junior/senior student guidelines were approved. Informational items included a safety update and publishing the notice of candidate filling.
The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 13.
