County seats filled without election due to lack of candidates

Several Moniteau County offices and seats have been filled without an election due to an absence of other candidates.

The offices and those assuming those positions are:

Moniteau County R-1 Board of Education: Derek VanLoo and Jeremy Burger.

High Point R-3 Board of Education: Perry Cook and Nicole Hallford.

Tipton R-6 Board of Education: Karla Pettigrew and Robert "Bo" Helms.

Jamestown C-1 Board of Education: LouAnn Wolfe and Steve C. Derendinget II.

Clarksburg C-2 Board of Education: Ricky R. Senter and Kevin Carpenter.

Good Shepherd Nursing Home District: Betty Avey subdistrict No. 5; and Tom Todd, subdistrict No. 6.

Russellville-Lohman Fire Protection District: Larry W. Bishop, Keith Heidbreder and Davis Tambke.

Tipton Rural Fire Protection District: Richard E. Williams and David R. Tuttle

Regional West Fire Protection District: Thomas Distler.

California Rural Fire Protection District: Chris D. Clifford and Craig Ash.

Moreau Fire Protection District: Gary Miller.

Mid-Missouri Ambulance District: Brenda Lapp, District 6; and Mitchell Saunders, District 3.

Clarksburg mayor: Larry Carpenter.

Clarksburg North Ward alderman: John Rank.

Clarksburg South Ward alderman: Lanny Carpenter.
