A search of a vehicle parked in a construction zone on the roadway near Route C led to the arrest of a subject for possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies with the Moniteau County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene, just north of High Point on April 9 to find a woman in the passenger seat who was unresponsive. Emergency personnel transported the female to the hospital for a possible drug overdose.

The other subject, identified as Clinton T. Clough, 31, of Macks Creek appeared to be disoriented, according to the release, and was suspected to have been under the influence of a controlled substance. A search of Clough turned up Suboxone, which is listed as a Schedule 3 controlled substance.

Clough was additionally found to be on probation/parole for possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property. He was then charged with possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Moniteau County Jail where bond was set at $25,000.
