The Moniteau County Fair officially came to a close last weekend.

After a full week packed with events, the demolition derby on Saturday night helped wrap up the 153rd edition of the Moniteau County Fair.

Tammy Hoellering, Moniteau County Fair Board Treasurer, said the fair went really well and there were no major issues she could think of. Hoellering also said she saw a good turnout throughout the week - the board should have a better idea of a number to put on the fair's attendance after its next board meeting in early September.

Hoellering said as of yet, there are no plans for any big changes or new elements for the next year.

Hoellering said she wanted to thank the community on behalf of the Fair Board for supporting the fair year after year.

"We always get really good support and volunteers that make the week possible, and we just appreciate everyone helping to make the fair what it is," Hoellering said.
