A Versailles man faces several drug charges after an incident in Moniteau County earlier this week.
Harley C. Davidson, 36, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (THC wax), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Moniteau County Sheriff's Department reports.
Deputies checked a vehicle parked at the Manito Lake Conservation area just outside Fortuna while on routine patrol Tuesday. While they found no one inside, they detected a strong odor of marijuana.
Deputies located to subjects walking in the area - one of whom was Davidson, who told deputies he had THC wax and handed it over to them.
After searching the vehicle, deputies located marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to Sheriff's Department reports.
Davidson was arrested and is being held at the Moniteau County Jail on $25,000 bond.
