Jamestown FFA freshmen attend Area 8 Greenhand Conference held at Eldon

The Jamestown FFA freshmen went to the Area 8 Greenhand Conference held at Eldon Sept. 29.

This Conference is used to inform the Greenhands about opportunities FFA has to offer. They gain an understanding of different types of activities and leadership to help them grow in the FFA. Below are some of the Greenhands' thoughts about the conference:

Megan Dugger said she had fun. She learned about the SAE projects and is not sure what she wants her SAE to be yet. She learned about FFA Camp and how to become an officer.

Austin Rasmussen said he learned about the SAE projects and he is not sure about what he wants it to be. He learned about FFA Camp and how to be a leader and wants to be the parliamentary officer.

Alden Rohrbach said FFA Camp got his attention pretty good along with the SAE. He is planning on raising rabbits. He learned about how to become an officer and wants to be president.

Nina DeLaGarza said that it was fun and informational. She enjoyed learning about the SAE and is planning on raising rabbits. She liked to talk about the FFA camp and can't wait to go. Nina is planning on becoming an FFA secretary.
