An assembly of California elementary and middle school students was held for Chris Bradshaw, founder of the African Library Project. She paid a visit to the California schools Thursday, March 31, to meet the students and the teachers who played a significant role in starting nine libraries in the last four years.
Teachers Jill Meisenheimer, Heidi Loring and Nikki Kelley were in the forefront of collecting books for the library project.
