The California Pintos played Dixon Friday in first-round action at the Osage Wood Bat Tournament, where they suffered a 2-0 loss.
Dixon led 1-0 after one inning, then added another run in the sixth for a 2-0 edge and ultimately, the win. Trenton Hall recorded five strikeouts for California.
