A tax levy rate public hearing was held before the regular monthly meeting of the Tipton R-VI School Board of Directors. Real estate valuation in the Tipton School District increased from $31,856,122 in 2010 to $32,426,076 in 2011, but personal property valuation decreased from $10,377,998 to $9,901,887. The total assessed valuation increased from $42,234,120 to $42,327,963.
