Garon Overfield has joined the Prairie Home School faculty for the 2010-11 school year as a fifth grade teacher. 
Originally from Hannibal, Overfield, 27, graduated from Hannibal-LaGrange College in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. 
Previously, he was a fourth grade teacher for four years at Bunceton.
"My goal is to touch the lives of my students and help them develop a hunger for true, meaningful learning," Overfield said.
He lives in Boonville with his wife Jennifer, who has also joined the PHS faculty this school year.
