The Pintos hosted Cole Camp Dec. 6, where the varsity defeated the Bluebirds 59-37.

"We had four guys in double figures," California Coach Blair Scanlon said.

Alec Ramsdell led California with 14 points, followed by Taron Morris with 12. Phillip Longan and Nate Caudel each contributed 10 points.

"We shot 12 of 19 from the free-throw line," Scanlon said. "This was a good game to get back home and get in the win column. We went with our big line-up, which seems to be much more successful and got us off to a good start. Having Alec Ramsdell in there makes a huge difference for us and provides us with a physical factor. We really had a great second quarter outscoring them 24 to 6 which opened the game up for us. When you hold a team to 37, it means your defense is getting much better."
