JV Pintos Pluck the Bluebirds

Tuesday, Dec 6, California JV played Cole Camp. The JV performed very well, and overall as a team it was a very good effort.

The Pintos took control of the game in the first quarter and never looked back. The score was 10-4 after one quarter. In the second quarter the Pintos continued to increase their lead as it climbed to 25-7 at the half.

The third quarter was the best for the Pintos as they scored 16 more points and held the Bluebirds to 4 points. The final score was 47-18.

The Pintos did a good job of sharing the ball and getting everyone involved in the offense. Dylan Albertson led California in points and tied for the lead in rebounds. He had 10 points, 3 steals and 4 rebounds. Chase Ramsdell followed with 4 boards, 4 steals, and 5 points. Jerry Lutz contributed in a big way as well. He had 7 points, 2 steals, and 1 rebound.

Lutz said, It was a good win for us. We shot well, we ran well, and overall it was a good win. California JV is 3-0 at this point as they look to carry their success through the rest of the season.
