At Mid-Year Seniors Reflect and Anticipate

With only five and a half months left of the school year, seniors are getting anxious for graduation. Past seniors have said that this year would go by fast, but no one thought it would be this fast. Looking back on the past four years brings back many memories for some students.

My favorite freshman memory was being in Ms. Gilbert's class. It was so much fun, said Phillip Leach.

My favorite sophomore memory was being in the pilot theater arts class. We made so many memories, said Nate Burkette.

My favorite junior memory is being conference and district champs and hosting sectionals, said Beth Crow.

My whole senior year is a memory I will never forget, said Jesse Dick.

My favorite high school memory was this past years Renaissance Festival. We got to run around in costumes with foam swords. No one looked at you like you were weird, said Kristen Dummermuth.

Take homework and school more seriously is advice seniors give to CHS students. What a person becomes in life is highly affected by what she/he does with her/his high school years.

Don't let all of the pointless, childish drama get to you. It makes high school harder than it should be. said Jessica Pearson.

Graduation is on May 20, 2012 in CHS's gymnasium. Potentially, 116 students are graduating this year, and most are counting down the days till it is here.
