The Russellville High School varsity girls basketball team participated in the Versailles Tournament Dec. 12-16, where the Lady Indians ultimately won the championship. Russellville defeated Waynesville 58-46 in the opening round of the tourney Dec. 12. Amber Duncan led the Lady Indians with 27 points, followed by Kennedy Volkart with 16 points and nine rebounds. AJ Grellner chipped in with 10 points.
"It was a nice win for us," Russellville Head Coach David Volkart said. "Any time you can get a win against a Class 5 school, it's a positive."
