ALLEE
Katherine M. Allee, 88, of California, Mo., passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011 at her residence.
She was born on February 2, 1922 in Corticelli, Mo. the daughter of Walter and Lillian (Allee) Gamble, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married on October 12, 1940 in Eldon, Mo., to Othor A. Allee, who preceded her in death on April 4, 2004.
For most of her working life, she was a clerk with the Dept. of Revenue for the State of Missouri. She also worked in a dentist's office, and at Carp's Dept. Store in California. After retirement she worked at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services part-time.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Kueffer and husband Jim of California, and Sandy Allee, also of California; three sisters-in-law, Norma Gamble, Genevieve Vogel and Jean Allee; five grandchildren, Cheryl Schoeneberg, Cindy Flory, Brad and Brian Kueffer, Christine Koestner; 11 great-grandchildren; and one niece, Nancy Long.
Funeral services were held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California. Burial was in Gamble Cemetery south of California. Officiating was Mr. Jack Bowlin.

KEERAN
Steven Lynn Keeran, 56, California, Mo., passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City, Mo.
He was born December 31, 1954 the son of Ronald Dean Keeran of California, Mo., and Betty (Kiesling) Schrader of California, Mo.
Steven was a member of the California U.C.C. He was also a member of the California Eagles #4027. Steven was a 1972 graduate of the California High School. He worked for Cargill for many years and also at California Manufacturing.
He is survived by three sons, Ricky Keeran and wife Angie of California, Mo., Rusty Keeran of Jamestown, Mo., Cody Keeran and fiancé Stacia Wolfe of California, Mo.; two daughters, Katlin Keeran and Chloe Keeran both of California, Mo.; one brother, Denny Keeran of California, Mo.; four sisters, Lisa Kendrick of California, Mo., Angie Keeran, Brenda Creason with husband Joe and Mary Washburn and husband Bob all of Troy, Mo.; four grandchildren, Kaleb, Kaden, Karlee, Peyton.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the California U.C.C. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery near California. Officiating will be Rev. Collette Jones.

LOGANBILL
Emma Jean "Jeannie" Loganbill, age 81, of Versailles, peacefully passed away Friday, January 14, 2011, in her home.
She was born November 29, 1929, in Clarksburg, Missouri, the daughter of the late Logan and Audrey Vaughan.
On September 10, 1950, at her home in Clarksburg, Missouri, she married Ivan Nelson Loganbill, who survives of the home.
She was an accomplished vocalist, known as one of the "Vaughan Sisters," with a weekly radio station program in which she and her sister sang. CO-MO Electric Company also booked the duet to sing at various events. Over the years, Jeannie was asked to sing at countless weddings, funerals, churches, and entertainment programs.
She was employed at Walmart, where she was recently honored for her 25 years of service.
She was a member of the Bethel Church in Fortuna. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crafts, and baking.
In addition to her husband, Ivan, she is survived by her son, Rick Loganbill and wife Joni of Versailles, son, Rad Loganbill and wife Barbara of Versailles, daughter, Karen Garber and husband Stan of Versailles, son, Kent Loganbill and wife Debra of Versailles, daughter, Dara Gaines and husband David of High Hill, Missouri, son, Dean Loganbill and wife Ann of Barnett, son, Mark Loganbill and wife Sara of Syracuse, son, Matt Loganbill and wife Tamera of Versailles, and her daughter, Lesa Moesch and husband Michael of Versailles; 46 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her sister, June Weinnbrenner and husband Lloyd of Clarksburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Nadine Hamlin, Adele Higgins, Vestal Rohrbach, Charlene Emmerich, and Arlene Vaughan, her brother, Norvelle Vaughan, her granddaughter, Erica Loganbill, and her grandson, Seth Loganbill.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 17, at the Bethel Church in Fortuna with Reverend Dave Zapf officiating. Interment followed in the Bethel Church Cemetery.

LONG
Mrs. Geneva J. Long, age 84 years, of Hartsburg, Mo., died Monday, January 10, 2011 at St. Marys Health Center.
Geneva was born February 7, 1926 in St. Aubert, Mo., the daughter of Everett and Betty Harrison Quick. She was married on January 26, 1946 in Olathe, Kansas, to Lewis S. Long.
A life long resident of the central Missouri area, Geneva graduated from Chamois High School, Chamois, Mo.
She was employed with the Missouri Office of Administration in the Division of Purchasing for 35 years.
Geneva was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and the Auxiliary of the American Legion, Post 424, Hartsburg, Mo.
Survivors include: her husband of 64 years, Lewis S. Long; one son, Terry S. Long and his wife Barbara of Jamestown, Mo.; one daughter, Tracy R. Six and her husband Rick of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Jennette Johnson and her husband Wayne of Belton, Mo.; four grandchildren, Jamie Long and his wife Jennefer, Nicole Dedrick and her husband Ryan, Michael Six and his wife Sarah, and Kristen Six; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2011 in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend David Ray officiating. Interment was at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

REX
TSgt Lanny Rex, 36, of California, Mo., passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011.
He was born on October 3, 1974, in Jefferson City, the son of Lynn and Beverly (Garnett) Rex of California, both of whom survive. He was married on June 7, 2001 in Kansas City, Mo., to Michelle Hall, who survives of the home.
He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, where he was instrumental in the implementation of the Discipleship Program. He loved to hunt and fish; he loved his girls unconditionally, and taking care of their sheep. He was currently serving in the United States Air Force (13 years of service), and was stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base with the 442nd Fighter Wing, from where he served in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan.
He is survived by two daughters, Tobi and Jayden Rex, both of the home; one brother, Jeff Rex and wife Gretchen and son Gideon of California; one nephew Tyler Mock; and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Main Street Baptist Church in California. Burial with full military honors was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Clarksburg. Officiating was Pastor Eddie Schoeneberg.

Maxine (Wilson) Siegel, 87, Vinton, Iowa, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab in Vinton, Iowa.
She was born Nov. 16, 1923, to Mike and Edith (Crawford) Wilson. She married Jack Siegel June 27, 1946.
She is survived by daughters, Roxanne (Dennis) Higgins and Becky (Duane) Walthart; sisters, Nadine Cliburn and Neville Anderson. Her husband and brothers, Robert and Pete Wilson preceded her in death.

WIGHTMAN
Norma Wightman, 76, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away on January 10, 2011 at her residence.
She was born on October 25, 1934 in California, Mo., the daughter of Edward and Ida Mae (Murray) Garrison, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married on August 18, 1951 in Harrison, Ark., to Robert J. Wightman, who also preceded her in death.
She worked as a shipping clerk for Avon Products in Kansas City. Her favorite pastime was travelling with her husband to all the states in the Union, and being with her family. The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and helpers at Hospice Advantage.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Lynn Daugherty and husband Wayne of Peculiar; three grandchildren, Joseph Robert Spencer, Christina Marie McDaniel and husband Jeff, and Nicholas Andrew Daugherty; and three great-grandchildren, Colton, Marysa and Joey. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly Ann Moser; and 12 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo. Burial was in California City Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Frank Whitney.
