Berniece Alexander, 81, Tipton, died July 19, 2011, at the St. Mary's Health Center, Jefferson City, Mo.
She was born November 7, 1929, in Willow Springs, Mo., daughter of Clarence and Lydia (Webb) Boyer.
She is survived by her daughter Pamala Greever, Tipton; son -in-law, Bill Greever; one grandson, Tyler James Davis; one brother, Jimmy Boyer, San Angelo, Texas; and one, sister Helen Stephenson, Willow Springs, Mo.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Robert (Bob) Fletcher, 75, of California, Mo., passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on February 17, 1936 in Magnetic Springs, Ohio, the son of William Leroy and Virginia (McAllister) Fletcher, both of whom preceded him in death, as well as his aunt Elizabeth Gibson, who helped raise him. He was married on June 28, 1958 in Springdale, Ark., to Gwen Turbyfill who survives of the home.
He graduated high school in Searcy, Ark.; earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Harding University; and earned his Master's Degree in Education Administration from Southwest Missouri State University. He was a lifelong farmer and cattleman and worked as a teacher, football coach and administrator for several schools, including Belleville, Ohio (1958-1960); California, Mo. (1960-1966); Carthage, Mo. (1967-1973); Republic, Mo. (1973-1975); Sedalia, Mo. (1975-1978); and finished his career as High School Principal at Russellville, Mo. Bob always had the utmost concern for the welfare of his student-athletes both on and off the field. He was a member of the Church of Christ in California, Mo., and the Moniteau County Cattlemen's Association.
He is survived by two sons, Kirk (Terri) Fletcher of Fayette, Mo., and Keith (Ann) Fletcher of California, Mo.; five grandchildren, Cole (Heather) Fletcher, Drew, Cody, Callie, and Shane Fletcher; special grandson Shayne (Shauna) Healea; one great-granddaughter, Addison; three sisters, Phyllis Thornton of Destin, Fla., Nancy Fowler of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., and Mary Ellen Callens of Greenwood, Miss. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Richard; three sisters, Ruth and Esther (twins) and Janice; and one grandson, Josh Fletcher.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California. Burial will be in California City Cemetery. Officiating will be Chris Harper.

Mary Lea (Bellamy) Lehman, 79, of California, Mo., met her Savior on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at the Moniteau Care Center in California, Mo.
She was born March 24, 1932, the fourth of nine children born to Louis and Jennie (Allee) Bellamy who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: infant Jerry Dale and Gene Bellamy and two sisters: Norma Ruth (Mrs. Norman Kays) and Faye (Mrs. Don Melton).
Mary Lea graduated from Eldon High School In 1951 and married Dorsey Lee Lehman on June 30 of that same year. He survives at their home in California. Mary became a Christian at the age of 12 and a member of High Point Baptist Church. She retired after 41 years at California Manufacturing. Besides her family, her passions in life were cooking, canning, gardening and giving to her family and a multitude of friends from the labor of her hands. (Nothing quite like a meal from Mary's table.)
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law; Michael Lee and Lorna Hahn Lehman of Jefferson City; one grandson, Joshua Michael Lehman of St. Louis; one granddaughter, Michaela Jane (Lehman) Fender and one great-grandson, Ethan Fender, also from Jefferson City. Other survivors include sisters Carol (Mrs. Ron Beard) of Centralia, and Corine Bellamy of Wisconsin; brothers Paul (wife Amy) Bellamy, Centralia, and Glen (wife Marilyn) Bellamy, Clinton.
Funeral Services were held Monday, July 25, 2011, at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment was at the California City Cemetery. Officiating was Ron Beard.

Katherine "Kate" Stokes, 67, of Versailles, Mo., passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
She was born on December 17, 1943 the daughter of Lenley "Pete" and Opal Viola (Combs) Fulks both of whom preceded her in death.
She graduated from Latham grade school and then Tipton High School in 1961. Kate was united in marriage to Larry Stokes on June 15, 1962 at the Latham Christian Church of who survives of the home.
She was a loving farm wife and helped raise many children. She worked as a cook for the Latham Elementary School for many years. She was also a member of the Latham Christian Church.
Survivors include, two brothers, Kenneth and Clara Fulks of California, Mo., and Jerry Fulks of Latham, Mo.; one sister in-law Connie Barnhill of California, Mo.; nine nephews, Terry Fulks of Latham, Mo., Kevin and Melinda Fulks of Bolivar, Mo., Chad and Darla Fulks, Justin and Mandy Fulks, Lance and Morgan Fulks all of Latham, Keith Fulks of St. Louis, Mo., Joe and Carol Kost, Tim Kost, Jamie Kost; one niece, Shannon Schrimpf all of California, Mo., and also 12 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Barney and Ellen Stokes, Laurel Fulks, C.H. Barnhill, Brian Fulks, Michelle Fulks and Lee Fulks.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Latham Christian Church. Officiating was the Rev. Jim Randall. Burial was at the Highland Cemetery near Latham.
