Justin Nichols, pastor at Jamestown Assembly of God, said his desire to serve God was brought about after getting saved at a young age.
"I grew up just wanting to serve God," Nichols, who prefers to be called 'Pastor J,' said. "I loved God from a young age and was committed to Him through my childhood and teen years. I started my first youth ministry slot at 16 years old which may seem weird to lead your peers but was a natural fit for me. I loved it and served in youth ministry for 10 years before going to school in 2002 and earning my Bachelor's Degree."
Nichols earned a Bachelor's in Religious Education with a concentration in pastoral ministries. He went straight to seminary where he also earned a Master's Degree of Arts in Theological Studies. He has since been working on dual Master's Degrees in Divinity and Counseling. All the while in college and seminary Nichols has served as a pastor both bi-vocationally and full-time.
