Approximately 65-70 boys attended the California High School Football Camp for grades 9-12 last week at the California Middle School practice field.
Directing the camp was new CHS Head Football Coach Marty Albertson, who said, "It was hot, but the guys worked hard. We worked on new offense and defense. The camp went great."
Assisting Albertson were CHS Assistant Coaches Rich Matzes, Rick Edwards and John Butler, and California Middle School Football Coach Bob Staton. Also assisting were former CHS Head Football Coach Geary Labuary, and former Pinto football player Warren Casper, who have each joined the CHS coaching staff for the 2011 season as assistant football coaches.
