It appeared to be a fun evening for attendees of the California Progress, Inc. (CPI) "Wine, Dine and Win" fundraising event Saturday, June 18.
As the social time started at 6 p.m. at Braykley Hall near Centertown, the crowd gathered at the dining tables, checked out the selection of pop, beer or wines at the beverage table, purchased 50/50 tickets and inspected the silent auction offerings and mingled while waiting for the prime rib dinner to be served.
The prime rib dinner catered by Burl Lutz included salad, baked potato, vegetables, tea and a dessert of cherry or blackberry cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream.
