There were 136 signed up for the seventh annual Women As Landowners and Their Partners Conference held Tuesday, Feb. 22, at the California United Church of Christ. Last year there were 99.
The three breakout sessions included six topics to choose from.
"Container Gardening" by Alice Longfellow of Longfellow's Garden Center proved very popular, just as container gardening is becoming more popular. She talked about how to grow healthy container gardens at what time of year, the pot size needed and what plants thrive in that environment.
