With help from the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation, the Moreau Valley Chapter of Quail Forever will host a quail hunt for women ages 15 and older 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. March 19 at the String Creek Game Bird Farm on N. Rock Creek Road, near Centertown.
Participants will learn about quail hunting and the basics of shooting a shotgun and will have the opportunity to shoot trap and work on shooting skills. Each participant will then go on a quail hunt. Ammunition will be provided in 12 and 20 gauges. Participants can bring their own gun or one will be provided. Lunch will also be provided.
