The new City of California budget for the fiscal year beginning April 1 was approved at the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Aldermen, held at the City Hall on Monday, March 7.
The budget hashed out after many intense meetings projects a total revenue for the year of $9,005,488 and projected expenditures of $8,681,544.
Among the expenditures projected are four additional personnel, four replacement vehicles, a backhoe and funds for asphalt work.
