Moniteau County 911 Emergency Dispatch Board meets

The Moniteau County 911 Emergency Dispatch Board of Directors met Monday, March 14, at the 911 office.

According to the treasurer's report, Sales Tax received was $33,259.41 (a total increase of three percent compared to March 2010), the MMDA account balance as of March 14, was $196,147.71. The total payroll on Feb. 15 was $8,486.38 and on March 1, the payroll was $8,169.78. Overall payroll taxes were $4,438.19. Total accounts payable approved at the meeting amounted to $22,095.59.

In other business, the Board of Directors discussed the purchase of a 1999 Dodge pickup to replace the old pickup which stopped running and approved obtaining a utility bed for the truck.

The matter of retaining Attorney John Kay for a year starting on April 1 was approved.

Employee policy and guidelines were approved by the Board.

Administrator Karen Garrison plans to visit elementary schools in April for the purpose of promoting 911 awareness. She also discussed Public Safey Telecommunicators Week April 10-16.

The next regular meeting is 6 p.m. Monday, April 11, at the 911 Center.
