The 2011 race season opened at the Double-X Speedway, California, Sunday, May 8, where California's John Clancy, Jr. came away with the Street Stock feature win. Rounding out the top five in the Street Stock division were Harlan Dowell, Tipton; Gary Foxworthy, Eldon; Joe Miller, Centertown; and Nick Turner, Jefferson City. Miller was also the heat winner.
Will Register, Sedalia, was the Hobby Stock feature winner. Rounding out the top five were California's A.J. Wirts; Chris Brockert, Eldon; Rudy Wirts, California; and Seth Jacobs, Centertown. Register was also the heat winner.
