A number of the California High School varsity tracksters finished in the top four of their event at the Class 2 District 3 track meet at Linn May 7 to earn All-District honors and advance to the Class 2 Sectional meet at Centralia Saturday, May 14, where four Pintos and one Lady Pinto qualified to advance to the State Track Championships.
California's Sydney Deeken, Kaleb Borghardt, Seth Fairchild, Anthony Price and Walter Juarez finished in the top four of their event to advance to the 2011 Class 2 State Track and Field Champsionships Friday and Saturday (May 20-21) at Dwight T. Reed Stadium, Jefferson City.
