Cattleman's Association annual dinner and auction held Nov. 8

The annual Moniteau County Cattleman's Association steak dinner and live auction were held Nov. 8 at Centennial Hall, California, where, according to the association's outgoing president, Blue Geier, attendance was at it's highest.

"This is one of the biggest turnouts we've had," Geier, California, said. "We fed over 180 and raised in excess of $9000 for scholarships for the spring of 2012."

Following the steak dinner, Don Osborn, California, was honored as the Moniteau County Cattleman's Association Cattleman of the Year and was presented a plaque by Geier.
