Famous Missourians seen at California elementary

Many historical Missouri characters were seen in the fourth grade hallway on Friday, Nov. 18. The "Famous Missourians Walk of Fame" appearances were a part of a fourth grade study section and included both famous and infamous people connected with Missouri.

Each fourth graders selected a character found in Missouri history and appeared "in character" to tell about their persona. The characters represented ranged from recent figures, such as Laura Ingles Wilder, Daniel Boone, Kit Carson, Sam Walton, Walt Disney, the Unsinkable Molly Brown, James Cash Penney, Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain), Marie Elizabeth Oliver, Lucille Bluford, Kate Chopin, Jessie James and many others.
