DUNN
Burnham "Bernie" B. Dunn, 88, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 at his home.
He was born October 21, 1923, in Jefferson City, the son of the late Burnham B. and Mary J. Kaiser Dunn. On August 9, 1946 he was united in marriage to Elva C. Boschert, who preceded him in death.
Bernie attended St. Peter's Elementary School, St. Peter's High School and Jefferson City Business College. He was employed by the Missouri Division of Veteran's Affairs until his retirement. Bernie was a World War II and Korean Conflict Veteran. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, the VFW, the American Legion, the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus. Bernie served as a volunteer at the Samaritan Center and coached Little League Baseball.
Bernie is survived by three sons: Gerald P. Dunn, wife Mary of Jefferson City; Ronald J. Dunn, wife Jane of Columbia; John A. Dunn, wife Myra of Jefferson City; two daughters: Jean M. Vanderfeltz, husband Don of California, and Cheryl A. Schuster, husband Keith of Camdenton; one brother: Richard J. Dunn, wife Betty of Holts Summit; 18 grandchildren: Aaron Dunn, wife Carrie; Stephanie Schuelen, husband Wesley; Sarah Price, husband Patrick; Eric Dunn, wife Cheryl; April Griffin, husband Scott; Casey Dunn; Molly Prenger, husband Luke; Andrea Dohlman, husband Jesse; Luke Vanderfeltz, wife Lauren; Zeke Vanderfeltz; Adam Dunn; Abby Dunn; Alicia Dunn; Brian Schuster, wife Angie; Chelsea Schuster; Tyler Schuster; Jacob Schuster; Austin Schuster; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. Francis Doyle officiating. Entombment followed in Resurrection Mausoleum with full military honors.

MILLER
Kathleen D. Miller, 76, of Tipton, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Mo., surrounded by family, after a courageous battle due to the ill effects of cancer treatments.
She was born July 1, 1935 in Tipton, Mo., to Norman Hainen and Elizabeth Faherty Hainen. She married Robert Miller on August 27, 1955 in Tipton, Mo., who survives of the home.
She worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City. Later she worked at Stride Rite Shoe Factory in Tipton. She worked for Crews and Gaw as a legal secretary for over 30 years. The last five years she worked at the Tipton Correction Center. She was a member of the St. Andrew's Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She loved reading, working puzzles, cooking and going out with her friends.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Jack of the home; two sons-Ted Miller of Tipton, and Grant (Ramona) Miller of Warrensburg; five grandchildren-Andrew, Seth, Luke, Heath and Carinne Miller; three brothers-Al Hainen of Blue Springs, Phil Hainen of Charleston, W.Va., and Tim Hainen of Jefferson City; one sister-Rose Marie Campbell of Jefferson City.
She was preceded in death by three brothers-Ed, Theodore, and Paul; one sister-Norma McBeath; and one son-Russell Miller.
Funeral services for Mrs. Miller were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 28, 2011 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery.

MOSELEY
James R. (Bob) Moseley, 63, of California, Mo., passed away suddenly on November 16, 2011 in Beijing, China.
He was born on October 12, 1948 in California, Mo., the son of Jimmy and Lucy Moseley, both of whom survive of California, Mo. He was married on October 12, 1994 to Rita Kay (Blankenship) Moseley, who preceded him in death on February 13, 2011.
He was a 1966 graduate of California High School and was an active member of First Baptist Church of California. He held the title of A&P, AI and DAR in the aviation industry as well as being a private pilot for many years. He was most recently employed by Superior Air Parts in Beijing, China as Plant Director. Bob was considered top in his field and spent the last 30+ years honing his craft. He was dearly loved and will be missed by family and friends alike.
Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother, Russell Moseley of California, Mo.; one sister, Cindy Dobson of California, Mo.; children James Moseley of Trinidad West Indies, Dustin Young of North Dakota, Kasey Young of North Dakota, Jessica Young of Kansas, and Nickolas Young of Kansas; stepchildren Travis Smith of California, Mo., and Nicole Kulus of Lee's Summit, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in California, Mo. Burial will be in California City Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Greg Morrow. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the church.
