California High School will host ACT Workshops this fall to help current juniors and seniors prepare for the ACT Test. The next workshop will be held Wednesday, Oct. 12.
Below is the schedule:
Math/Science Reasoning - 5:45-7:45 p.m. in CHS Room 141

English/Reading - 5:45-7:45 p.m. in CHS Room 116
• Oct. 27
• Nov. 10
CHS teacher Dana Barr will provide a six-hour workshop for the English/Reading sections of the ACT Test, while CHS teachers Amy Kuebler and Peggy Huhmann will instruct the Math/Science Reasoning sections in a second workshop.
For this to be effective, students should ideally attend all of the sessions for either the English/Reading or Math/Science Reasoning workshops and then take the ACT test. Instruction, practice, and simulated testing will be provided.
