County holds prebid meeting on jail

A county jail prebid meeting was held Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Moniteau County Courthouse.

The architects and construction engineer were present to answer questions from potential bidders on the proposed new county jail.

The representatives of the construction companies addressed their questions and concerns about the architectural drawings and checked out the site for the planned construction.

"The meeting went well," said Presiding County Commissioner Kenny Kunze.
