Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) organizations are involved in many schools in the area, state and country. Jamestown is one of many schools which are using the school group to help their students grow into leaders. Cindy Stegeman is the business teacher in Jamestown and also the FBLA advisor. This is her first time participating in FBLA as a teacher and has enjoyed helping advise the group.

"The students seem to appreciate the feeling of belonging to an organization such as FBLA," Stegeman said. "FBLA allows students to compete with other schools in the area of business (i.e. Keyboarding, Accounting, and Editing). The biggest benefit they gain for life by being a member of FBLA is being prepared for the business world. A business not only looks at the educational qualifications of a potential employee but also their skills in actually being in a business setting."

Holly Eschenbrenner, a senior at Jamestown, got involved in FBLA because she loved taking the business classes offered at Jamestown.
