California FFA members enjoy the fall weather

The California FFA chapter held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 11, in the Ag room. Sixty-five members were present. Members reviewed the 2011 FFA barbecue. Advisor Adam Bieri commended the students for serving a record number of 1617 people.

Following the meeting the members piled on a trailer and went on a hayride that ended with a bonfire at Jacob Kueffer's house. Members enjoyed s'mores and talking with friends. Member Alec Ramsdell commented that his favorite part of the night was "singing the tunes that everyone got involved in on the hayride."

FFA members are currently planning their November meeting, which will end with an entertaining event such as trapshooting, pitch tournament or mud volleyball.
