Several bluegrass artists came together and performed at the Bluegrass Gospel Jam held at Centertown Baptist Church Sunday, Oct. 23. The jam sessions have been held every three months for the last three years. Centertown Baptist Church members Clarence Landrum and Larry Wagner helped organize the event.

"We were just sitting in church one night," Landrum said, "and thought it would be cool to get a bunch of people to come and play some music. Some nights we have about 30 people but we have seen other nights where it has been packed, even up to 120 people one time. We have had up to 16 performers jamming together."

Landrum added through the bluegrass nights they have been able to reach out and have even seen one member join through the event.
