"It was great getting a couple of matches under our belt this week," California Coach Ashley Atteberry said. "Tuesday night was a great win against Eugene. The girls played pretty well for their first match of the season. Boonville was a lot more competitive and showed us what we need to continue to work on in practice. We are looking forward to this week's matches because we have a district and conference opponent.

Holly Wolfrum led the Lady Pintos with 10 service points, followed by Stephanie Pugh. Beth Crow contributed four digs and three blocks and Abby Lueckenotte had 10 assists. Sydney Deeken had six kills and Caitlin Meyer had five.
