Jamestown Labor Day Car show

This vintage Dodge Challenger is in its original color, called "Pink Panther."

The Jamestown Lions Club Labor Day Car Show for 2011 included a larger number of entries than last year. Included in the vehicles judged were cars, trucks, motorcycles and antique tractors.

Robert Wright gets into a Jaguar at a New York dealership Thursday. Tata Motors Ltd. of India was selected Thursday as the preferred bidder to take over Jaguar and Land Rover brands.

The winner of the antique tractor category was a 1953 IH SuperH entered by Danny Haldiman. The winner of the metric bike category of motorcycle was a 1993 Suzuki entered by Dalton Prather. The touring bike category was won by a 2006 Harley Davidson Deluxe entered by Mimi McKay. Her bike also took Best of Show for motorcycles.

Traders work Thursday in the crude oil futures pit of the New York Mercantile Exchange as crude hit a record for a second-straight day.

Judged Best of Show of cars and trucks was a 1970 Mustang Mach I owned by John Lewis. His red Mach I also took the trophy for Mustang 1965-1978.
