The California High School volleyball teams traveled to Stover Tuesday, Sept. 6, where the JV Lady Pintos captured a match win. California's JV won 17-25, 28-26 and 25-17. Sam Wise led the JV Lady Pintos with nine service points. Sam Phillips followed with seven service points. Leah Davis contributed three digs, while Morgan Henley had six assists and Paige Halsey had eight kills.
The varsity Lady Pintos lost to the Lady Bulldogs, 21-25 and 16-25. Kaitlin Allison led California with seven service points and four digs. Beth Crow had six service points and Abby Lueckenotte had nine assists. Holly Wolfrum contributed six kills and Sydney Deeken had three blocks.
California played at Eldon Thursday night, where the varsity Lady Pintos lost 16-25, 25-11 and 26-28.
