Young pro football fans will have the opportunity to exhibit their football skills at the annual NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition hosted by Lutz and Stenquist Dental, California, Sunday, Sept. 18, at Riley Field.
The competition is free and open to boys and girls ages 6-15. Age classification is as of Dec. 31, 2010.
The NFL PPK football competition allows youth to showcase their talents in punting, passing and place-kicking, with scores based on distance and accuracy.
The top finishers from each of the 10 age groups at the local competition will advance to a Sectional competition. Winners at the Sectional level will have their scores compared with other Sectional champions, with the top five scorers advancing to the Team Championship, which will be held at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, or the TWA Dome, St. Louis.
