The Russellville High School volleyball teams hosted Linn Tuesday, Sept. 13, where the varsity Lady Indians lost their match 20-25 and 15-25 to the Lady Wildcats. Kennedy Volkart had five digs and four kills for Russellville, while Kaley Payne contributed five digs and five assists. Kristi Dulany chipped in with five digs as well.
The Lady Indians traveled to Ashland Saturday for matches against Southern Boone, where Russellville's varsity lost 25-20, 24-26 and 15-25 to the Lady Eagles.
Volkart contributed six kills, five blocks and six digs, while Payne had nine assists, 11 digs and three kills. Dulany had three kills and four aces and Shelby Loethen contributed 10 digs.
